To provide the level of personalized care our patients deserve, Serenity currently operates on a direct-pay membership model rather than billing insurance for office visits. This allows our visits to be unrushed, personal and free from the administrative barriers, which often accompany traditional billing models.
While your insurance can still be used for lab tests, certain imaging, specialist referrals and medications, my one-on-one visits aren’t billed through insurance. This frees us from the constraints of the middleman.

Membership is the core of the practice as it is designed to provide comprehensive, personalized care. In this model we offer varying levels of access to Dr. Brown, where follow-up visits, direct messaging and free ECGs are included.
The al a carte option is fee for service where one can choose to pay per visit. This can be considered for occasional treatment or verifying a diagnosis. In this less preferred model, text messaging and certain diagnostics are limited.
Note that selected cardiac tests are billed separately and are not included in any of the plans above.
